A Day In Coliseum

Ever since the update, Coli has been really fun to do in GP Latale. I love how my guild is partying up with other guildies to do Coli expert or hardcore. Since we don't have 3rd jobs or sub jobs in GP, don't expect us to be strong and handle it solo and all like it's easy. It's waaaay better with more people, and don't worry, we're up for it!




Yesterday was probably the best time do to Coli. It is the weekend, right? Many people are doing coli these days, since it's all new, whether you get bugs. The most annoying part is since the drop rate is high, there's buttloads of items dropping from the monsters constantly. The best part is having your inventory clean after every run. It's best to buy some inventory expansions from the Item mall, since they're quite cheap and very useful. (although they only expand 4 spaces..)

So, I was with Caye, Teddy, Cakey, and Leo teaming up to do hardcore and clear it for the first time- yay! I ended up tanking with the Guardian Ball in the corner since I wanted to and us Bladers are close attack and it's well, annoying sometimes when you have to hit far.

And that's how we did it. I ended up leveling once or twice from all the millions of EXP each boss was giving. And then I joined up with Leo again for another hardcore party. Which we cleared again!

AND THEN I MET MY TWIN -- WISHY <3 Which you can't really see her because of my huge shield ;;

After that I ran around Belos since Elias is pretty much dead, and still is today. I made quite the equipments later that day..

 THIS ONE was meant to break but it didn't..

This one was so beautiful. I broke it at leveling to 12 for fun since we don't have sub jobs and won't have them for months. It's fun to farm and enchant and reassign when you visit Coli. I only do it for fun to see what I come up with!

Dear Readers And Old/New LaTale Players (BIG NEWS?)

Hello everyone~ It's that wonderful post again.

Today I was lurking on the forums again for fun, bumping into the same old threads I've already read. But what I saw today was mouth-dropping, lollipop-licking goodness. If you old players remember three years ago when we've waited patiently for an update, Pil kept saying, "It will update soon" over and over again and we got so annoyed because it wouldn't update and then a buttload of us left one by one? Well look no further, we're getting new maps!

We asked for screenshots, we got screenshots.

 Although I kind of wanted a video but.. Pil, we love you. We always did. It's only the beginning with this, I'd hope. When will the maps be released? Pil hasn't posted the exact date, but it seems soon, or a week would seem like soon, since it looks ready. What will new maps do? More grinding, obviously, and get to level 193+ quick a new start for me *GaveouteverythingQQ*


The community, if you ask, might grow as well. This may seem like a minor update to those who are new, but for us old players who've been around since the beginning of the server, it's a MAJOR update for us. For those who want 3rd jobs, subjobs and all that other good stuff, we don't know about this yet.We all want it. And right now I will wait patiently with another update. For now, the new maps update is the only one we'll get for maybe a while. And I'll be very happy with just this update, so everyone knows this server is still alive.


Welp, since I've given out everything, especially my ely, I'm surprised this update is finally coming to us. It's a miracle if I say so myself after all the stuff us old players have been through. We had some good memories~ *tears*

The Return Of Melody

As of today, my new blog name will be Melody. There's nothing new around these parts of LaTale, and I stopped playing OGP and the private server everyone knows that won't update, GP LaTale. I have a couple of news to make but it's nothing new. It's somewhat like the announcement I've posted before this one. However, nothing has changed and I only lurk the forums a couple of days a week to see how what's going on. I saw an interesting thread. Here's what I saw:

 Hi PiL and everyone ,I have a one question ,When the Update wiil be introduced to the server ?I will ask about it cuz lot of players wiat for it for long time...plz PiL give us some infos ,Tell us The exact date of update ! 

How many times has PiL told everyone they don't have the files and they will never get them? Unfortunately, after thinking this through in my mind, this wasn't the answer. I saw a couple of people saying the same thing, with "it won't ever update" and anything related to that. This is getting old .w.

Since we don't really have a coding team anymore, how is it possible to update? PiL hasn't hired any coders, and what I see is she won't let any coders change anything unless she knows what's going on. I read and read all the impossibilities of the server ever updating. Then I came across a post that PiL posted when I was offline on that thread. Apparently our current GM J3sus, who's spanish, and PiL are testing the new maps. Maps we doubt we would get. She didn't mention 3rd jobs or sub jobs so this might not be in the "update". First of all, I didn't know he can code? And why didn't he act before? Didn't he join a couple of years ago?

In my honest opinion, I feel this is a set up for those who play so they don't lose their hopes of an actual update. I won't believe in an update unless there's proof, a screenshot or a video of the coding/maps. If PiL took action and socialized more with players to show proof, the server wouldn't be completely dead.
